On Saturday, 4th December, 2010, Archbishop Paul Cremona O.P. attended the inauguration of Palazzo de Piro, in Mdina. As part of the inauguration ceremony, four wax reliefs were exhibited. According to a recent study, these wax reliefs are attributed to Melchiorre Gafa’. The ‘Annunciation to Our Lady’ and ‘the shepherds giving praise to the Lord’ are amongst some of the recently restored work of arts.
