THE ARCHBISHOP CELEBRATES ‘MALTA DAY IN THE UK’

On Saturday, 11^th September, 2010, the annual celebration of ‘Malta Day UK’ was held in Westminster, London. This event is popular amongst the Maltese community residing in the U.K.

Archbishop Paul Cremona O.P. Paul Cremona was invited to attend the activities. Along with the  Westminster Archbishop, Rev. Vincent Nicholas, the Archbishop of Malta concelebrated Mass which was followed by a procession with the Statue of the Nativity of the Virgin Mary. The ceremony was brought to a close in front of the Sacred Heart Chapel, with the singing of the Maltese and British national anthems.

Vice Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs, Dr. Tonio Borg was also present for these activities.
