Pope Francis entrusts Archbishop Scicluna with another mission in Chile

By the end of this week, as planned, His Holiness Pope Francis will greet a group of Chilean priests at Casa Santa Marta.

In order for the process of reparation and healing of the victims of abuse to proceed, in the coming days, at the request of Pope Francis, Archbishop Charles Scicluna and Mgr Jordi Bertomeu will return to Chile, this time on a mission in the Diocese of Osorno.

Meanwhile, Pope Francis is to send a letter by hand to the President of the Episcopal Conference of Chile, addressed to all the People of God, as he had promised to the Bishops.
