In his message during the ‘Milied Flimkien’ campaign, Archbishop Charles J. Scicluna said that “we must do our outmost to avoid words of hate towards each other”. Many a time, our words are in stark contrast with the words that the angels announced – “peace on earth to people of goodwill” (Lk 2,14). The Archbishop also said that we must consider our words carefully and must exercise this self-control throughout the year. Only when people choose to do good over evil shall peace reign.
“Let us do our utmost so that we, in our littleness, each one of us from his or her heart, in the home, in the workplace, in the media, create a culture of peace and thus avoid hatred.”
Wishing you all a Holy Christmas and a Blessed New Year.
