Archbishop Paul Cremona OP has appointed Rev Josef Mifsud as the new parish priest for St Joseph the Worker, B Kara.
Fr Josef was born in Zejtun on 15th May 1981 and grew up in Siggiewi where he received his education at primary level. Following that, he attended the Minor Seminary, and later recieved his theological formation at the University of Malta where he graduated with a B SThl degree in 2009. He was ordained as a priest on 1st July 2007 and began his pastoral ministry at the parish of Our Lady of Graces, Zabbar, where he has held the post of vice parish priest for the past two years.
The parish of St Joseph the Worker was established in 1973 and is made up of 6000 residents, who form part of 1300 families.
