New Parish Priest for Qrendi

Archbishop Paul Cremona O.P. has appointed Fr Glen Buhagiar as parish priest of Qrendi.

Fr Glen Buhagiar was born on the 19th April, 1980. He received his primary education at St Francis School, Cospicua, his secondary education at St Augustine’s College, Pieta’, and his post-secondary education at Paolino Vassallo Lyceum, Paola. He carried out his tertiary studies (Philosophy & Theology) in the Faculty of Theology at the University of Malta.

Fr Glen was ordained to the priesthood on the 3rd July, 2008. He commenced his pastoral work in Zurrieq parish where he served for the last six years as vice-parish priest. During this time, he was also a spiritual director at St Benedict’s College, Boys Secondary School, in Ħal Kirkop.

The number of parishioners in Qrendi is around 2,775 gathered in 820 families.
