A new edition of the Ecclesiastical Directory for 2011 with over 550 pages of updated information in Maltese and English about the organization, including structures and entities of the Archdiocese of Malta, has just been published.

The Directory includes detailed information about the number of parishioners and families; Masses on Sundays and Feast Days, as well as during the week; processions; the names of the religious associations and movements represented in the various parishes; the number of Baptisms, First Holy Communions, Confirmations, Marriages and Funerals held in the previous year in every parish; and small churches or chapels where marriages can be celebrated.

The Directory includes two separate lists of all diocesan priests in Malta together with the address where they reside, telephone number and e-mail address; information about Maltese priests, religious and lay people giving service to the Church in other countries; summarized information about events in the Archdiocese in 2010; and a section about the Diocese of Gozo and priests in Gozo.

The Directory has been edited by Mgr. Joe Magro and can be obtained for 12 Euro from the Archbishop’s Curia, the Media Centre Bookshop, the Catholic Action Bookshop at the Catholic Institute, Floriana and the Emmaus Bookshop, Birkirkara.
