The Malta Bible Society is organising 7 new Bible Courses between February and April 2010.  The aim of these courses is to help in the better understanding of the Bible and its message.

The themes of the courses vary to suit everyone’s needs.  The lecturers are experts in their subjects.

The courses are held in the evening between 6.00 and 7.30 p.m. with a break for refreshments.  The courses are held in Maltese and are open to all.

The courses are: (1) Il-Madonna fil-Bibbja u fit-Tagħlim tal-Knisja (Dun Karm Attard) (Mary in the Bible and in the Teaching of the Church) ; (2) L-Antropoloġija Nisranija fid-Dawl tal-Kelma ta’ Alla (P. Luċjan Borg  OSA) (Christian Anthropology in the light of the Word of God) ; (3) Il-Proklamazzjoni tal-Kelma waqt il-Liturġija (Dun Hector Scerri) (The Proclamation of the Word in the Liturgy) ;  (4) Il-Bniedem: qalb għatxana għal Alla (P. Arthur Vella SJ) (The Human Being: a soul that thirsts for God) ;  (5) X’ġara fil-Passjoni skont San Luqa (Dun Alfred Agius) (What happened during the Passion according to St Luke); (6) Il-Bidu tal-Kristjaneżmu f’Malta – Arkeoloġija Biblika (Mr Glen Farrugia) (The Beginnings of Christianity in Malta – Biblical Archaeology); (7) Is-Salmi (P. Martin Cilia MSSP) (The Psalms).

The courses are held at the conference room of the Malta Bible Society at 51, Triq il-Miratur, Floriana.
