On Wednesday 20th April 2011, Archbishop Paul Cremona O.P. will lead the National Via Crucis which is organized by RTK Radio, in conjunction with the Pastoral Secretariat of the Church in Malta. This is being held on the occasion of Pope John Paul II’s beatification and his ties with Malta. This event will take place in the environs of Mdina bastions and will begin at 8.00pm. The Via Crucis starts next to St Mark’s Church in Rabat, continues through the streets of Mdina and ends in front of the Metropolitan Cathedral. On the occasion of the beatification of Pope John Paul II, the text which will be read has been written by Pope himself. The activity will be aired live on Radio RTK (103FM Stereo).
