On Saturday 29th October 2011, christian musicians convene for a formation seminar at Dar Frate Jacoba in Marsascala ahead of the upcoming World Youth Day Song Contest.
The conference, themed MoreVolume, is divided between discussion sessions and hands-on workshops focusing on the unique call of musicians as ministers.
MoreVolume will be guided by Italian ensemble Nuova Civiltà who were purposely invited. Throughout its stay, Nuova Civiltà will give performances in various other venues including a live act at Hard Rock Cafe in Baystreet on Saturday night.
MoreVolume is held by the Church Commission for Youth (KDŻ) following consultation with christian bands earlier this year. The diocese has witnessed a soar in christian bands and productions over the last five years.
