On Tuesday 7th February 2012, Cardinal Elect, Mgr Prospero Grech O.S.A., Archbishop Paul Cremona O.P. and Fr Emanuel Borg Bonello O.S.A., Augustinian Provincial in Malta, addressed a press conference at the Archbishop’s Curia. A presentation was also given by Fr Jesmond Manicaro, Archbishop’s Delegate for the Liturgy, about the Episcopal Ordination Mass of Mgr Grech.
This was an opportunity for the members of the press to get to know Mgr Prospero Grech who will be ordained bishop by Archbishop Paul Cremona on Wednesday, 8th February, at St John’s Cocathedral, and appointed Cardinal by Pope Benedict XVI in St Peter’s Basilica, Vatican City on the 18th February.
