9.30 a.m. The Archbishop meets the Congregation for Bishops for the ad Limina visit on the Archdiocese of Malta, at the Vatican. During these meetings the Archbishop will be together with Bishop Mario Grech, who will also be having the ad Limina visit on the diocese of Gozo.
11.00 a.m. The Archbishop, the Bishop of Gozo and Archbishop Emeritus Mgr. Guzeppi Mercieca meet Pope Benedict XVI, in a private audience at the start of the ad Limina.
12.30 p.m. The Archbishop attends a meeting at the Pontifical Council for the Pastoral Care of Migrants and Itinerants.
4.00 p.m. The Bishops celebrate Mass at the Basilica of St. John Lateran.
Tuesday
The Bishops attend meetings at the Supreme Tribunal, the Congregation for the Clergy, the Congregation for Catholic Education, the Secretary of State His Eminence Cardinal Tarcisio Bertone, and the Pontifical Council for the Laity.
4.00 p.m. The Bishops celebrates Mass at the Basilica of Saint Mary Major.
Wednesday
7.15 a.m. The Bishops celebrate Mass at St Peter’s Basilica.
The Bishops attend meetings at the Pontifical Council for Health Care Workers, the Congregation for Institutes of Consecrated Life and Societies of Apostolic Life, the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, the Pontifical Council for New Evangelization.
Thursday
The Bishops attend a meeting at the Congregation for Divine Worship and the Discipline of the Sacraments, the Pontifical Council for Social Communications, the Apostolic Penitentiary.
4.00 p.m. The Archbishop celebrates Mass at the Basilica of St Paul Outside the Walls.
Friday
3.00 p.m. The Archbishop, the Bishop of Gozo and the Archbishop Emeritus return to Malta.
Saturday
9.00 a.m. The Archbishop meets, at the Curia, Fr Joe Saliba O.Carm. and Fr Ivan Scicluna O.Carm., the new parish priests of Sta. Venera and Fleur de Lys respectively.
9.30 a.m. The Archbishop presides over a meeting of the Presbyteral Council at the Curia.
