On Saturday 15th January, 2010, Archbishop Paul Cremona OP celebrated Mass at St. John’s Co-Cathedral, Valletta, for couples that celebrated their marriage during 2010.
In his homily, Archbishop Cremona stated that nobody should come between spouses; those individuals who entered the sacrament of marriage should abide by their marital consent and remain faithful to one another. Mons Cremons explained how it is not circumstances that dictate how a marriage fares, but rather it is love that transforms circumstances; he insisted upon the importance of forgiveness between the spouses. The Archbishop stated that although the future is unpredictable, the Lord accompanies the married couple throughout their married life.
Meanwhile, on Sunday, 13th February 2011, the Archbishop will celebrate mass for engaged couples who will be getting married this year. The celebration will be held at St Johns Co Cathedral, Valletta at 6.30 pm. Both these events have been organised by Cana Movement.
