About the Jubilate Deo Choir
The Jubilate Deo Choir serves as the choir of the Metropolitan Cathedral and is the resident choir of the Parish Church of Naxxar. In 1974, 50 years ago, a group of volunteers, under the guidance of the then archpriest Fr Paul Caruana, established a choir in the parish of Naxxar.
Named Jubilate Deo, the choir’s mission goes beyond its title; it has become a life mission for all its members to praise the Lord and assist the liturgical congregation in doing the same. Over the years, the choir has provided a continuous experience of God through music and singing, not only enriching the ears and hearts of those who participate but also fostering a dialogue with God through music that transcends into prayer.
