On Thursday 29th of November 2012, Archbisop Paul Cremona, accompanied by 19 young artists, launched the 2013 theme for youth with a collective exhibition at the Sagrestia Vault, Valletta Waterfront. The artists produced original works on the exhibition title, INSIDE|OUT, itself inspired by the 2013 theme: “Go and make disciples of all nations” (Mt 28, 19).
The 20 pieces are on display every evening between 18:00 and 22:00, Sundays between 13:00 and 21:00. The exhibition runs until December 9, and entrance is free of charge.
Parliamentary Secretary for Youth, Hon. Clyde Puli and Opposition Spokesperson for Culture, Hon. Owen Bonnici, also attended the inauguration. Artists were awarded certificates of recognition and Archbishop Cremona delivered his annual message to young people. The ceremony ended with the blessing of the artist and their works as the bishop officially declared the exhibition open.
