Important Ecumenical meeting in Malta

The International Commission for Anglican-Orthodox Theological Dialogue (ICAOTD) will be meeting in Malta from today, Saturday 14th October and Friday 20th October 2017.

The participants from the Anglican Communion include bishops and experts from the Church of England, from the United Kingdom, Ireland, Canada, Brazil, South Africa and Sri Lanka. The Orthodox delegation includes Metropolitans, Bishops and experts from Romania, Serbia, Georgia, Cyprus, Greece, Moscow and Zimbabwe. The meetings include prayer sessions and discussions on themes such as the environment and ethical issues.

On Monday, 16th October, the participants at the ICAOTD meeting will be meeting Archbishop Charles Scicluna at Mdina.
