The Archbishop’s Curia would like to announce that with effect from today, Tuesday, 27th July 2010, all temporary directives regulating Holy Communion are revoked. These directives were put into practice in July 2009 owing to a number of medical cases involving Influenza caused by the A-H1N1 virus. This decision has been taken since the Curia has now been informed by the local Health Authorities that in Malta, there are no longer any reports of patients suffering from the said virus. In Europe, there are presently very few such cases.
