For the first time at the SDC Centre of Korçë, the Ceremony of Elects was held on the 11th May 2024. Three teenagers, Mikel Ushini, Elio Mehmeti and Xhonatan Agushi, received the Ceremony. This occasion evoked lot of enthusiasm and interest among the young people of the parish.
In addition to their regular attendance for the meetings held at the SDC Centre, Mikel, Elio and Xhonatan, take their Christian life seriously especially with their participation in Holy Mass and the sacraments. Indeed, this ceremony is a sign of life and hope for the future of the Society in Albania.
The Ceremony, with the participation of the children, the members of the St George Preca Group, and the clergy of the parish, took place in the chapel of the SDC Centre. The SDC Members from Durrës were also present for this beautiful occasion.
The Superior General greeted and congratulated the Elects via an online video call. Don Ignatio Bonsignore, parish priest, also shared his message at the end of the Ceremony.
After such an occasion we have to express: Deo Gratias!
