On Tuesday 2nd February 2010, Hungarian Football team, Ferencvaros visted Dar tal-Providenza facilities. The players and coaches of this club took part in the activities which also involved a training session. Maltese national team and Ferencvaros goalkeeper, Justin Haber, was also present for the occasion.

Benedict XVI is acknowledging the signs of faith in the United Kingdom, and looking ahead with anticipation to his upcoming visit there. The Pope affirmed this today in an audience with the bishops of England and Wales who are in Rome on their five-yearly “ad limina” visit. “Even amid the pressures of a secular age,” he said, “there are many signs of living faith and devotion among the Catholics of England and Wales.”

VATICAN: LEPROSY STILL NEEDS ATTENTION

Leprosy still is not a thing of the past, and the president of the Vatican’s health care council is calling people to take Sunday as a day to be in solidarity with people who still suffer from this ancient disease. Archbishop Zygmunt Zimowski made this call in a letter for World Leprosy Day, to be celebrated in 2010 this Sunday.
