US: 77,000 PETITION FOR MOTHER TERESA STAMP

U.S. atheists are fighting a proposed postal stamp honoring Blessed Teresa of Calcutta, known as Mother Teresa. Thousands of Catholics are pushing back against what they see as religious discrimination.  CatholicVoteAction.org issued a press release Tuesday calling for Americans to join the nearly 78,000 signatories of a petition supporting the Mother Teresa stamp.

BENEDICT XVI CONFIRMS TRIP TO SCOTLAND

Confirming his upcoming visit to Scotland, expected in September, Benedict XVI is urging prelates to prepare Catholics well in their specific vocations as clergy and laity.

Ż.A.K. MOSTA ORGANISE CATHECETICAL WALK WITH CROSS AND ICON

On Wednesday, 14th February 2010, Ż.A.K. Mosta organised a catechetical event as part of the celebrations for Pope Benedict XVI’s visit to Malta. This was organised by Ż.A.K. youths. The celebration started off with the Cross and Icon being taken from the Millenium Chapel in Paceville, to the Mosta Parish Church.
