The 12th volume of the collected works of Joseph Ratzinger, who later became Benedict XVI, was presented in the Vatican. Il-Kummissjoni Kultura tal-Arċidjoċesi ta’ Malta flimkien mal-Kumitat Organizzativ għall-Festi Ċentinarji tal-Parroċċa ta’ Raħal Ġdid qegħdin iniedu t-tielet edizzjoni tal-Festival għall-Korijiet Parrokkjali. Da se jsir nhar l-Erbgħa 10, il-Ħamis 11 u l-Ġimgħa 12 ta’ Novembru. Din is-sena l-Festival se jinżamm fil-Knisja Parrokkjali ta’ Raħal Ġdid bħala parti mill-festi ċentinarji tal-Parroċċa.

Pope greets the crowd
Benedict XVI is dedicating the month of November to pray for those who use drugs, or who are dependent on other substances.
The Apostleship of Prayer announced the intentions chosen by the Pope for November.
His general prayer intention is: “That victims of drugs or of other dependence may, thanks to the support of the Christian community, find in the power of our saving God strength for a radical life-change.”
