USE OF NEW ROMAN MISSAL TO BEGIN IN US AT ADVENT 2011

Archbishop Paul Cremona OP has appointed Rev Josef Mifsud as the new parish priest for St Joseph the Worker, B Kara.

Archbishop Paul Cremona O.P. has appointed Rev Frans Abdilla as his Delegate for the Clergy and for Members of Institutes of Consecrated Life. He will replace Rev Joseph Mifsud Bonnici.

A group of youth representing 20 countries presented a Magna Carta of Values at the United Nations in a session presided over by the retired archbishop of New York and the Holy See’s permanent observer before the U.N..

IRELAND AIDS PAKISTANI FLOOD VICTIMS

Catholics across Ireland joined to aid the 20 million Pakistani flood victims through a nationwide Church collection. Pakistan saw its most devastating monsoon rainy season in decades, which caused flooding that brought as many as 2,000 deaths and affected another 20 million people. The area affected by the floods is about the size of England.
