POPE’s CHRISTMAS LITURGY SCHEDULE

The Office of Liturgical Celebrations of the Supreme Pontiff published the list of Christmas ceremonies over which Benedict XVI will preside. EXCHANGE OF GREETINGS AT THE ARCHBISHOP’S CURIA

On Wednesday, 22nd December 2010, Archbishop Paul Cremona O.P. exchanged Christmas greetings with all Curia employees and collaborators. In his message, Mgr. Cremona spoke about the importance of keeping mankind at the centre of all pastoral and administrative work carried out by all those who work in Church entities.

PONTIFF URGES STATE TO SUPPORT FAMILIES

The Pope made this appeal Thursday upon receiving in audience Miquel Àngel Canturri Montanya, the new ambassador from Andorra to the Holy See.

PONTIFF DENOUNCES CHILD PORNOGRAPHY, PEDOPHILIA

Benedict XVI is speaking out against the crimes of child pornography and pedophilia, and is underlining the need to fight these evils through a solid formation of conscience. 

The Pope stated this today during his traditional meeting with the cardinals, archbishops, bishops, and members of the Roman Curia and of the Governorate of Vatican City State, for the exchange of Christmas greetings.
