WYD 2013
The official dates of the 2013 World Youth Day have been established: July 23-28.
The dates were chosen at a meeting between the Pontifical Council for the Laity and a local organizing committee, in Rome since Monday for planning.

Latin America
In a special liturgy Monday evening in St. Peter’s Basilica in Rome, Pope Benedict XVI entrusted to Our Lady of Guadalupe the people of Latin America and reiterated the right of the unborn to live, while urging nations to effectively confront the social and public justice challenges that face them.

On Wednesday 7th December 2011, Archbishop Paul Cremona O.P. met the Liturgical and Pastoral Commission of Mdina. The Archbishop then met the Diaconia Commission and later, the Parish Pastoral Council and the Commission for the Implementation of the Synod of Mdina.
