MODIFICATION TO RITES FOR THE CREATION OF NEW CARDINALS

The Office of Liturgical Celebrations of the Supreme Pontiff has introduced certain modifications to the ordinary public consistories for the creation of new cardinals. As from today, Tuesday 10th January 2012, parish priests hailing from the 70 parishes in Malta, are attending a three-day Live in, together with Archbishop Paul Cremona OP.  The theme chosen for this year’s Live-in is “The Maltese Diaspora and the Church’s role as a beacon”.
