KDZ General Assembly

On Saturday 11th February 2012, Archbishop Paul Cremona O.P. presided over the General Assembly of the Diocesan Commission for Youth, held at Mount St Joseph, Targa Gap. Over 120 youth ministers participated in the discussion, focusing on the role and contribution of young people within the  church.

Healing was the theme of Pope Benedict’s weekly Angelus address, delivered this morning in St. Peter’s Square. The Holy Father spoke about today’s Gospel, which relates how a leper had come to Christ, saying “If you wish, you can make me clean.” Jesus replied, saying, “I do will it, be made clean.”

“In that gesture and in those words of Christ,” the Pope said, “is the whole history of salvation, there is embodied the will of God to heal, to cleanse us from the evil that disfigures us and destroys our relationships”… Read more »

Għadna kemm iċċelebrajna l-festa tan-nawfraġju ta’ San Pawl, jum it-tifkira tal-magħmudija ta’ Malta. Kif din it-tifkira għadha friska, daqstant ieħor għadha friska l-Ordinazzjoni Episkopali tal-Agostinjan Malti, Patri Prospero Grech, li l-ġimgħa d-dieħla jinħatar Kardinal mill-Papa Benedittu XVI.

SYMPOSIUM ENDS WITH LAUNCH OF INTERNET CENTRE FOR CHILD PROTECTION

A four day symposium at Rome’s Gregorian University entitled ‘Towards Healing and Renewal’ concludes on Thursday with the launch of an internet portal in English, Spanish, Italian and German, providing information and training for all those dealing with child protection in the Church.

In the Holy See Press Office, a press conference was held to present the Holy Father’s 2012 Lenten Message. Participating in the conference were Cardinal Robert Sarah, president of the Pontifical Council “Cor Unum”; Msgr. Giampietro Dal Toso and Msgr.
