On Wednesday 16th of November 2013, Archbishop Paul Cremona O.P. met members of the Diakonia Commission, the Parish Pastoral Council and the Synod Implementation Commission, at the Parish Centre in Marsa as part of his Pastoral Visit in the Holy Trinity Parish, in Marsa.

On the occasion of the sixth anniversary of his Episcopal Ordination, Archbishop Paul Cremona O.P. will be celebrating a Thanksgiving Mass at St. John’s Co-Cathedral, Valletta, on Sunday 20th January 2013, at 5:30 p.m. Priests are invited to concelebrate and everyone is invited to attend.

On Tuesday 15th January 2013, Archbishop Paul Cremona O.P. met the young boys who attend catechism at the Boys’ MUSEUM, in the Parish of The Holy Trinity in Marsa. He also met with the catechists who teach in this Parish.

Cardinal Tarcisio Bertone
Cardinal Secretary of State Tarcisio Bertone, S.D.B., recently celebrated Mass in the Chapel of Mary Mother of the Family in the Governorate Palace of the Vatican to inaugurate the 84th judicial year of the Tribunal of the Vatican City State.
“We would like to invoke Divine Wisdom,” the cardinal said, “for the delicate and serious task of administrating justice.” He then greeted, among others, the President of the Tribunal, Giuseppe Dalla Torre, the judges, the promoter of justice, and the various workers in the administrative office, relaying to them “blessed greetings from the Holy Father who follows your appreciated labour with attentive interest.”

In the last days, in the Apostolic Palace of the Vatican, the Holy Father received in audience His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco along with his wife, Princess Charlene, and entourage. Following the audience with the Pope, the prince met with Cardinal Secretary of State Tarcisio Bertone, S.D.B., and Archbishop Dominique Mamberti, secretary for Relations with States.
During the course of cordial discussions several topics were covered including the meaningful contribution of the Catholic Church to the principality’s social life and international interests such as the integral development of peoples and the protection of natural resources and the environment… Read more »

Session 3 – The family as a community of hospitality
The Cana Movement is currently presenting a series of talks inspired by the Apostolic Exhortation Familiaris Consortio of Pope John Paul II, in which the Pope outlines four fundamental tasks which the Christian family is to undertake. On Sunday 13th January 2013, at the Divine Mercy Sanctuary, San Pawl Tat-Tarġa, Naxxar, the Spiritual Development Unit within the Secretariat for Education organized a Mass for Church school representatives, celebrating the Year of Faith. Mass was celebrated by Bishop Charles J. Scicluna, accompanied by school spiritual directors and animated by a choir formed by students from different Church schools. Pope in St Peter's Square
Appearing at his study window at midday Sunday, Pope Benedict greeted thousands of pilgrims gathered under drizzling rain in Saint Peter’s Square. In his remarks at the Angelus prayer, the Pope spoke of Sunday’s Feast of the Baptism of the Lord and invited Catholics to “contemplate our share in the divine life through the gift of the Holy Spirit in the waters of Baptism.”
