A PROCESS HAS BEEN INITIATED TO ESTABLISH PERMANENT DEACONS

L-Arċisqof Mons Pawlu Cremona OP għadu kemm waqqaf żewġ gruppi ta’ konsultazzjoni li għandhom jagħtuh suġġerimenti dwar b’liema mod se jiġu ntrodotti fl-Arċidjocesi ta’ Malta l-ministeri lajkali u d-djakni permanenti.

Kien f’Jannar li għadda, waqt il-programm ta’ Radju RTK ‘Il-Polz taċ-Ċittadin’ ippreżentat minn Tonio Bonello, li l-Arċisqof żvela li minn din is-sena kien se jibda l-proċess biex jitwaqqaf id-djakonat permanenti f’Malta: “Il-proċess se jibda billi grupp ta’ persuni li għandhom ċertu esperjenza se jagħmlu riflessjoni dwar din ir-realtà fil-Knisja, jagħtuni rapport, imbagħad minn dak ir-rapport nara ftit dak li naħseb li hu tajjeb u dak li mhux daqstant tajjeb.”

ARCHBISHOP MEETS MALTESE EMIGRANTS IN SAN FRANCISCO

During the first few days of his pastoral visit to San Francisco, Archbishop Paul Cremona O.P. met with Maltese emigrants at the ‘Maltese American Social Club’ as well as at the residence of the Consul General of Malta, Mr Louis Vella, where the Archbishop had the opportunity to personally meet the Maltese.
