Vatican Calls Muslims, Christians to Prepare Youth for Peace

In a message for the end of Ramadan, the Pontifical Council for Interreligious Dialogue says that educating young people for peace is increasingly urgent. The message was released by the Vatican Tuesday.

Justice and peace, the statement noted, are inseparable from truth and freedom.

Din hija maratona ta’ 60 siegħa ta’ xandir kontinwu li s-Soċjetà Missjunarja ta’ San Pawl qed torganizza biex titqajjem kuxjenza missjunarja filwaqt li jinġabru fondi b’ risq il-missjonijiet li l-istess Soċjetà għandha fil-Perù, fil-Filippini u fil-Pakistan.

Pope: “Love given to the suffering is a reflection of divine charity”

Pope Benedict XVI sent his blessings to the twenty-fifth Interreligious Gathering of Prayer for World Peace on Mount Hiei in Japan, which began on Friday. The Summit includes a symposium studying the response of religious leaders to natural disasters. Third volume of Jesus of Nazareth completed

Pope Benedict XVI has finished the third volume of Jesus of Nazareth, dedicated to the stories of Jesus’ infancy. A statement from the Press Office of the Holy See explains that this third volume, which is the completion of the previous two, is at present being translated from the original German into several languages – including English.
