President of EU bishops encourages participation and voting for “candidates and parties that will continue building a better Europe”

As the upcoming EU elections approach, the President of COMECE, Mgr. Mariano Crociata, readdressed the topic on Tuesday, 4 June 2024. He encouraged all European citizens, especially Catholics, “to go vote and to do so responsibly, choosing candidates and parties that will continue building a better Europe for all. The EU is not perfect, but we want to improve it together using the democratic tools we have, starting with our right to vote.”

Church Schools urge conclusion of educators’ agreement

The Secretariat for Catholic Education and the Association of Church Schools (CSA) are calling for a resolution to be reached among all parties involved to conclude negotiations and sign the new collective agreement for educators in both State and Church schools. The appeal comes after recent public comments and media reports, which may hinder the process.

Ceremony of Elects in Korçë (Albania)

For the first time at the SDC Centre of Korçë, the Ceremony of Elects was held on the 11th May 2024. Three teenagers, Mikel Ushini, Elio Mehmeti and Xhonatan Agushi, received the Ceremony. This occasion evoked lot of enthusiasm and interest among the young people of the parish.
