Conclave in Sistine Chapel

This morning at 7:45am, the cardinals electing the Pope left the Domus Sanctae Marthae and moved to the Pauline Chapel where they celebrated Mass from 8:15am until 9:15am. At 9:30am they entered the Sistine Chapel and, after praying the Liturgy of the Hours, proceeded with the two morning scrutinies. Oħloq Tbissima Marathon collects €202,942 in 2012

Through the Oħloq Tbissima Marathon which was held between the 3rd and 5th August 2012, the total sum of €202,942.11 was collected.

The money collected has been distributed to the respective missionaries in the care of the Missionary Society of St. Paul (MSSP) in Peru, Pakistan, the Philippines and also locally, as well as to create missionary awareness.

Conclave begins

Cardinal electors assembled in Rome will begin voting for the next pope March 12. Jesuit Father Federico Lombardi, the Vatican spokesman, announced the date for the start of the election, known as a conclave, in a message to reporters March 8.
