  • Tomorrow, Wednesday 28th August 2013, Mgr Charles J. Scicluna, Auxiliary Bishop and Vicar General of Malta will leave Malta to lead a pilgrimage in Lourdes. A group of 336 Maltese pilgrims will be attending this pilgrimage organized by the Assocjazzjoni Voluntarji Lourdes (AVL).

    Each year, the Association assists sick persons to travel from Malta to visit the Shrine of the Blessed Virgin of Lourdes at the Grotto, where she appeared for the first time to Bernadette Soubirous on the 11th February 1858.
