Pope Francis during Angelus
Pope Francis reflected on the mercy of Christ during his Sunday Angelus address in St. Peter’s on Sunday. The Holy Father spoke on the theme given that the month of June is dedicated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus.

A fundraising committee was set up in order to raise money in aid of Dar Qalb ta Ġesu, which helps survivors of domestic violence.

Pope recieving Romero's relic
Pope Francis received a bloodstained relic of slain Archbishop Oscar Romero as a gift from El Salvador’s President Mauricio Funes Cartagena.

Finding a solution to the “ongoing scandal” of worldwide hunger should be a top priority, said the Vatican’s representative to the United Nations. Addressing a U.N.
