Archbishop Paul Cremona officially launched the new Year Theme for Youth, with Mass at St Joseph the Worker church, Birkirkara on the 1st of December. The theme for 2013-2014, given by Pope Francis to all young people is “Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.” (Mt 5,3)
In his message, Archbishop Cremona spoke of the significance of the verse today, and encouraged young people in their mission for a more authentic world…
RTK 4 Charity – Families in Need
RTK 4 Charity’s Christmas Campaign 2013 in aid of Families in Need was launched today during a special programm. This is the 20th consecutive year that RTK radio is organizing this campaign, which collects money for families in need in Malta and Gozo, and for Refugees presently residing in Malta. A small percentage of these donations go towards Dar tal-Kleru in Birkirkara…

Meeting of bishops and delegates from Europe’s Bishops’ Conferences with responsibility for the pastoral care of migrants
