On Saturday 17th January 2015, Bishop Charles J. Scicluna, Apostolic Administrator, celebrated Mass at St. John’s Co-Cathedral, Valletta, for couples who got married in 2014. Mass was organised by the Cana Movement.
On Sunday 8th February, at 6.30 pm, at St. John’s Co-Cathedral, Valletta, Bishop Scicluna will celebrate Mass for couples who will get married this year.

In-numru ta’ żwiġijiet fil-Knisja li ġew irreġistrati fl-Arċidjoċesi ta’ Malta fis-sena 2014 kien ta’ 1,387, żieda marġinali fuq iż-żwiġijiet irreġistrati fl-2013.

Mit-total ta’ żwiġijiet rreġistrati fl-2014, 1,183 żwieġ kienu bejn Maltin. Kien hemm ukoll 53 żwieġ bejn Maltin u barranin. Dawn kienu mqassmin hekk: 29 żwieġ bejn Kattoliċi Maltin u Kattoliċi barrani; 20 żwieġ bejn Kattoliċi Maltin u Insara mhux Kattoliċi barranin; 4 żwiġijiet ta’ Maltin ma’ barranin li mhumiex Insara…

Pope Francis arrived in Colombo, Sri Lanka, on Tuesday morning, at the beginning of a week-long visit to Asia that will see him in both Sri Lanka and the Philippines.
