Four new priests at the Lord’s service

  • On Friday 3rd July 2015, Feast of St Thomas the Apostle, Archbishop Emeritus Paul Cremona O.P. ordained four new priests (three diocesan and one religious) during Mass at St John’s Co-Cathedral, Valletta.

The Pope expresses his closeness to the Greek people in time of crisis

  • Pope Francis on Wednesday invited the faithful to unite in prayer for the good of  the Greek people. A note released by the Holy See Press Office says that the Pope has expressed his closeness to the Greek people who are suffering the effects of the current crisis. Pope Francis to travel to Latin America

  • For the first time since his election on 13 March 2013, Pope Francis is returning to the continent of his birth – Latin America – on a journey which will see him interact and communicate in his own language – Spanish.

The Pope welcomes Orthodox delegation for feast of St Peter and St Paul

  • On the feast day of Saints Peter and Paul, Pope Francis urged 46 new metropolitan archbishops to hear the first apostles’ call to prayer, to faith and to witness. Pope Francis to new Archbishops: be true witnesses

  • On Monday 29th June 2015, Pope Francis delivered the homily at Mass celebrated in St. Peter’s Basilica on Monday, the Solemnity of Saints Peter and Paul, Patrons of Rome.
