A small exhibition featuring religious items brought from Iraq which were found in the rubble of churches that had been desecrated, burnt and damaged by ISIS, will be held at the Archbishop’s Curia in Floriana.
Among the items there are broken crosses, burnt and damaged statues and reliquary and perhaps the most frightening, a chalice with bullet holes. The items were recovered from several churches in Teleskuf and Qaraqosh and they are being exhibited in the 24 countries where the Aid to the Church in Need has its offices…

When 7-year-old Jacob observed a group of homeless people huddled together in a scaffolding, he didn’t waste time. Restoration works on St John’s Co-Cathedral façade have been completed. The project included the main entrance, sides, belfry, clock and wind vane. This is the first time that the main façade of the co-cathedral underwent such a thorough restoration, which has an area of more than 2,000 square meters.
