Waqt l-istess Quddiesa ser jieħdu wkoll sehem is‑saċerdoti li qed jiċċelebraw xi anniversarju speċjali mill‑ordinazzjoni tagħhom. Wara l-Quddiesa, l-Arċisqof ser imexxi purċissjoni bl‑Ewkaristija mat‑toroq ewlenin tal‑Imdina.

Ġie fi tmiemu l-aġġornament annwali għall-membri tal-Kleru (in-service course) li sar fis-Seminarju tal-Arċisqof, fejn matul dawn it-tlett ijiem, is-saċerdoti kellhom l-opportunità jisimgħu direttament miż-żgħażagħ dwar kif iħarsu lejn il-Knisja. Is-seba’ żgħażagħ ta’ etajiet differenti li indirizzaw lis-saċerdoti kienu: social worker, tattoo artist, sound engineer, studenti tal-hairdressing u żagħżugħ Kattoliku li jaħdem f’negozju tal-familja.

The bishops of Portugal have welcomed the rejection of the legalisation of euthanasia in Portugal, with the spokesman for the bishops conference claiming it was “a victory for life, in its full sense”.
