Pope Francis will create 14 new cardinal from 11 countries during the Ordinary Public Consistory in Rome’s St Peter’s Basilica Thursday evening, June 28.

The Foundation for Theological Studies is launching ten bursary schemes to encourage individuals to pursue postgraduate studies in pastoral areas at the Faculty of Theology of the University of Malta.
The Foundation, established in 1988 by Archbishop Joseph Mercieca, among its objectives gives priority to the development of theological studies in Malta.
