Fr Jethro Bajada said that he is very content that he will spend Christmas and New Year’s Day at the Corradino Correctional Facility. Since he celebrates mass on Wednesdays, he will be celebrating mass on both Christmas and New Year’s Day. He said that regardless of whether the prisoners are Catholics or not, they are still happy that someone goes to visit them.

Caritas Malta embarked on a project funded by Erasmus+, whereby it provided an opportunity for 23 staff members working in Caritas drug rehabilitation services to visit therapeutic communities across Europe. Pope Francis expressed his profound concern for all those enduring the suffering caused by war and violence. His words came in his greetings to the faithful immediately following the recitation of the Angelus on Sunday, just three days to Christmas.
