The Environment Commission proposes EU member states be more attentive to the people

  • On the occasion of the World Day of Urban Planning, celebrated today 8th November, the Interdiocesan Environment Commission sent a letter to the President of the European Commission Jean-Claude Juncker, to the European  College Commissioners and to the President of the European Parliament Antonio Tajani. Algeria prepares for beatification of 19 martyrs

  • The cause for their beatification opened in 2007, thus titling Pierre Claverie and Companions as Servants of God. Earlier this year Pope Francis confirmed their beatification.

    On December 8th the ceremony of beatification will take place in the cathedral of the Diocese of Oran, of which the martyred Pierre Claverie was bishop.
