The Vatican creates an International Observatory against cyberbullying

  • “Promise the Lord that you will never do this, and you will not permit it to be done in your school, in your school, in your neighborhood. Is that understood?”

    It was not a casual message for the Pope. The bullying problem on social networks worries him to the point that the Vatican will create an International Observatory.

The Environment Commission proposes EU member states be more attentive to the people

Algeria prepares for beatification of 19 martyrs

  • The cause for their beatification opened in 2007, thus titling Pierre Claverie and Companions as Servants of God. Earlier this year Pope Francis confirmed their beatification.

    On December 8th the ceremony of beatification will take place in the cathedral of the Diocese of Oran, of which the martyred Pierre Claverie was bishop.
