Applications for Admission to Church Schools in Malta and Gozo 2025 – 2026

Applications for ‘Other Applicants’ for admission to Church Schools in Malta and Gozo for the scholastic year commencing in September 2025 will be accepted online from Tuesday 4th February till Thursday 13th February and from Thursday 20th till Thursday 27th February 2025. A month of cultural activities at the Jesuit Oratories in February

The Jesuit Oratories are offering another month of cultural activities for February, featuring a blend of art, music, history and philosophy.

New principal appointed for Archbishop’s Minor Seminary School

Archbishop Charles Scicluna has appointed Fr Jean-Claude Schembri as the new Principal of the Archbishop’s Minor Seminary School in Tal-Virtù, Rabat. He succeeds Fr Mark Ellul, who has been appointed as the new Delegate for Catholic Education after serving as headmaster of the Minor Seminary School for 13 years.

The Archbishop’s Minor Seminary currently educates 800 students, providing education from the first year of primary to Year 11 of secondary school, and employs approximately 200 staff members… Read more »

New Vatican document examines potential and risks of AI

The Pope’s warnings about Artificial Intelligence in recent years provide the outline for “Antiqua et Nova,” the “Note on the relationship between artificial intelligence and human intelligence,” that offers the results of a mutual reflection between the Dicastery for the Doctrine of the Faith and the Dicastery for Culture and Education.
