The official programme of Pope Francis’ Apostolic Journey to Malta is announced

The official programme of the Apostolic Journey of Pope Francis to Malta on the 2nd and 3rd April 2022, was announced today at noon by the Holy See. On Saturday, the Pope will visit Valletta and will then go to Gozo in the afternoon. On Sunday morning he will visit Rabat and Floriana, and Ħal Far in the afternoon.

Pope Francis says his heart aches over the situation in Ukraine and announces a “Day of Fasting for Peace” on Ash Wednesday.

During the General Audience on Wednesday, Pope Francis made a heartfelt appeal for peace in Ukraine, saying that the threat of war had caused “great pain in my heart.”

Van needed for a program with vulnerable children and youth

The Salesian Sisters of Don Bosco have launched a crowdfunding campaign on the local platform Zaar to help them buy a van for their new youth-focused programme in Xagħjra.
