Il-Caritas qalet persuni li jkollhom problema tad-droga jew ta’ saħħa mentali jistgħu jkunu ta’ għajnuna għal persuni oħra wara li jindirizzaw din il-bżonnijiet tagħhom.

L-Erbgħa 24 t’Awwissu, Caritas Malta ħejjiet konferenza li permezz tagħha ġie fi tmiem proġett ta’ tliet snin ta’ Erasmus+. L-isem ta’ din il-konferenza kien ‘HELPEX –  European qualification of peers in the helping process of rehabilitation and recovery’.

Fid-diskors tiegħu Patrick Harvey, li jaħdem fis-sezzjoni tar-riżorsi umani fi ħdan Caritas Malta, spjega kif fl-2019 Caritas Malta kienet ġiet avviċinata minn Caritas Bavaria biex jipparteċipaw f’Erasmus+ flimkien ma’ seba’ entitajiet oħra minn madwar l-Ewropa, sabiex jiġu żviluppati sett ta’ għodda ta’ taħriġ għal persuni li kellhom problema ta’ dipendenza fid-droga jew problema ta’ saħħa mentali… Read more »

Pope promulgates new constitution of the Order of Malta

Pope Francis has taken the next steps in the renewal of the Sovereign Military Hospitaller Order of St. John of Jerusalem, of Rhodes and of Malta (the Sovereign Military Order of Malta) with a decree issued on Saturday.

Id f’Id: A youth exchange by ŻAK Ħal Tarxien and Azione Cattolica of San Severo in Italy

During these last few months, a group of Maltese young people from ŻAK Ħal Tarxien between 16 and 25 years were planning a youth exchange, to spend a week in Malta with a group of young people from Italy and explore a particular theme together through several activities. Pope prays for war victims as Ukraine conflict marks six months

At the conclusion of the General Audience, Pope Francis renewed his invitation to everyone to pray for peace from the Lord for “the beloved Ukrainian people who have been suffering the horrors of war for six months now.”

He recalled the dangerous situation concerning the Zaporizhia nuclear plant, and asked that concrete steps be taken to avert the risk of a catastrophe.
