Painting restored as Casa Manresa’s Chapel marks 240th consecration anniversary

A painting depicting St John the Baptist and St Paul in the chapel of Our Lady of Manresa at Casa Manresa, Floriana, has been restored to mark the 240th anniversary of the chapel’s consecration by Bishop Vincenzo Labini on 23 July 1786.

A record sum of €707,586 was raised during the 16th edition of the BOV Volleyball Marathon, which was held for the first time at the MFCC in Ta’ Qali between Thursday, 16 July, and Saturday, 18 July 2026.
