Santu Wistin għandu espressjoni fil-ktieb tiegħu Il-Belt ta’ Alla li kiteb fis-seklu ħamsa. Tgħid hekk, bil-Latin: “libido dominandi”. Tfisser: il-kilba biex taħkem, biex tiddomina. “Il-kalċi mbierek huwa xirka mad-demm ta’ Kristu” (Salm 115). “Sibt ’il David, qaddej tiegħi, biż-żejt imqaddes tiegħi dliktu” (Salm 88:21). Il-Knisja tagħżel Salm 88 biex tiċċelebra dak li qegħdin nagħmlu. Iż-żejt imqaddes li l-isqof ibierek, f’isem il-Knisja u f’isem Ġesù, hu żejt li noffru imma li jsir strument, aġent tal-grazzja. “Biż-żejt imqaddes tiegħi dliktu” (Salm 88:21) u l-Mulej, ma’ din id-dilka qaddisa, iwiegħed ukoll il-fedeltà, it-tjieba u l-qawwa… Read more »
