On Friday 31st May 2013, Archbishop Paul Cremona O.P. and Auxiliary Bishop Charles J. Scicluna received donations by phone from the general public during the Xarabank Marathon in aid of the poor in Tanzania. , run by Mission Fund. A record sum of over € 500,000 was collected in aid of the poor in Tanzania, where the Mission Fund helps people in need.
