• Pope Francis is currently in Poland for a meeting with two million young people on the occasion of World Youth Day. Over 650 young men and women, who hail from 23 different religious groups and several parishes in Malta, are also attending the meeting, which is an auspicious moment in the lives of these youthful members of the Church in Malta.

Archbishop Charles J. Scicluna urged these youths to allow Jesus to speak to them through this extraordinary experience, stating that it could bear much fruit in the hearts of every person; it could also serve as a beautiful experience of reconciliation. The Archbishop encouraged the youths who are attending World Youth Day to try and discern God’s plans for them so that once this experience is over, they can serve as Apostles of Christ in Malta or wherever God’s will may lead them. Click here for live coverage of the activities of World Youth Day.
