On Thursday, 11th March, 2010, Archbishop Paul Cremona O.P. visited PBS studios in G’Mangia where he met the Chairman, the board of directors, management and staff of the national radio and television station. Archbishop Cremona was shown around the premises and individually met all employees. The Archbishop also celebrated Mass in one of the TV studios. During his homily, Archbishop Cremona spoke about the important role and impact of the media in today’s society and the responsibility which comes along on those who work in the media industry.
The Archbishop spoke about the visit to Malta of His Holiness, Pope Benedict XVI, and said that in reporting, journalists should not just focus on the events that take place but also on the meaning behind this important visit.
Archbishop Cremona was interviewed by Lilian Maistre on her radio programme “Familja Waħda”.
